Jonna Watson, Ed.S., NCSP, IPE is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist with an Independent Practitioner’s Endorsement. She has 14 years of experience as a school psychologist working with pre-school-high school age. She has presented on Interrupting the Loops of Autism at the National Association of School Psychologists annual convention (2020) and the American Psychological Association annual convention (2019). She graduated from Middle Tennessee State University in 2009 with her Master’s in School Psychology and in 2010 with her Educational Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction. Jonna graduated from Grace College in 2003 with her Bachelor’s degree in Counseling and Sociology.
Jonna is the author and illustrator of Ruby the Rubberband Learns her Limits: A Case of Being Too Stretchy and A Great Lake’s Tale: Superior Learns She’s Part of the Flow. She also hosts a podcast called the 5 Minute Inner Child, which is a podcast that tells stories of self-compassion for grown-ups. She is the creator of the Playing House model of protective factors which emphasizes a whole child, strengths-based approach. Jonna enjoys her four awesome kids, her two Schnoodles, her partner (since 2004!), and tap dancing.
